To add to the confusion in researching LaDessa, there were 2 Dessie Weeks in Huntington County, Indiana. The other one was born in 1873
and was Dessie L., she married an Albert Weeks. She is buried with her husband Albert in Indiana.
How Dessie M. Weeks became La Dessa Weeks is unknown. She didn't go by La Dessa until after she was married.
Irvine & LaDessa's son Lawrence died in 1905 in indiana at age 16 from Typhoid Fever.
