NOTES

Some have John R. Potter as husband of Caroline (Foster) Potter. I do not believe this is true even though he does have a daughter 

named Mary Jane. In the 18881, 1891, 1901 and 1911 census of Ontario, Canada John R. Potter is listed with his wife Catherine.
Both are also buried in Parkhill Cemetery, McGillivray Township, Middlesex County, Ontario (link HERE). Catherine his wife died in 1928.
In 1900 and in 1930 Caroline (Foster) Potter is in Nebraska, (can't find her in 1910 & 1920 census yet). Therefore do not believe Caroline
& Catherine are the same person. Which leaves me at a loss as to who her husband was.
