NOTES

Both Joe Sr. and Jo Jr.'s names recorded as "Joel" in several records. Joe Jr.'s seen also as Joseph.

This is my reasoning for who is in the photograph. First there are more children in the photograph than Joe and Fannie had
that I have found. I place the photograph around 1900 give or take abut 5 years due to the type of board on which it is mounted.
Therefore, some of the persons in the photograph must be daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. Charles and Eugene are the
oldest and therefore most likely to have married first. Charles was married in 1893 and had his first child Mary in 1894 or 1895.
(have seen both years for birth of Mary). Second, in the photograph the two oldest men (other than Joe) seem to appear with mates
as the tall one on the left in the back row has his arm around the girl next to him which he probably would not have done to a
sister, and the one sitting in front row on the right has the hand of the woman to his left, (your right), on his shoulder which a wife
usually did in a photograph, not a sister. Considering this, the child on Fannie's lap is probably her first grandchild Mary.
