NOTES

Only references found are the two university year books. The Denison University Yearbook states he was

from Chicago, Illinois. Two years later a Bruce Kinney is listed in the University of Chicago yearbook.
I believe they are the same person. In both locations he appears to have been very active in Christian
ministries of one type or another.I can find no other references.

It is possible that this is a photograph of Bruce Kinney D.D. who was a Baptist missionary to Utah andWyoming

in the early 1900's and was the author of several books on missions : Mormonism: The Islam of America

He became pastor of a church in Albuquerque, NM in 1898 where he went due to the health of his wife

(name unknown) and who was deceased by early 1900. After much searching I can find no reference to where this
Bruce Kinney D. D. attended school or where he was from originally.

1899 Denison University Yearbook lists "Edwin B. Kinney" 1892 graduate as pastor of First Baptist Church in

Albuquerque, NM. This pretty much verifies his identity.
