NOTES

Joseph Batterby is listed in Chicago as a photographer from 1863 - 1870. I am assuming that the photograph
was taken sometime in that time frame which fits with the type of photograph. There are more than one
Carrie Hanson in Omaha but this one is the only one who would fit the age and time frame.
