NOTES

Here is my thinking why the above labeled "Janima Ball Daniel" is Mary "Molly" Anna Ball Daniel.
I have another photograph of Effie Cornelia McColgan McMahan on which is written "When I was
three" which indicates that the writing on this photograph was written by her personally. The
handwriting on the above photograph matches the handwriting on the photograph of Effie which
indicates that this is Effie's grandmother Moilly Anne Ball Daniel. Why she wrote "Janima" I don't
know. Possibly Janima was a nickhame or Effie just absent mindedly wrote "Janima" think of her
mother.

This is not an original photograph but appears to be a modern photograph of a painting or early
photograph.

The photograph is taped to the page from an antique album.
