NOTES
Ona & Oscar had an older brother named Fletcher but the brother in the photoraph is younger than Ona.
Info from family member:
I know very little about Oscar, but Ona had four children and lived most of her adult life in Robinson Illinois, Kalamazoo, MI, and Findlay,
Ohio. My father Claude was the youngest. Her other children were Reba, Albert, and Cecil. Reba died of complications from an
appendectomy in her 20’s and had no children. All three boys passed away in their 70’s. Our family history has its share of tragedy,
as cystic fibrosis took a terrible toll on many of Ona’s grandchildren. Albert had four children, but lost his two young daughters to CF
in the 50’s and 60’s. He has two surviving sons. Cecil had six children, and sadly lost all four of his sons to the disease. He has two
surviving daughters. My father Claude had two children. Myself, and my brother. I am 51 and the youngest of all the grandchildren.
Ona died when I was 11 years old, but I loved her with all my heart.
