NOTES

The name on the photograph is  with town and state given, but I have received information from a family member
that the person in the photograph is not Hattie Barnes, but is actually Harriet McLeod, and that the photograph was being sent
to Hattie Barnes to whom she was related. This confuses me a bit because Harriett McLeod, who it appears went by Hattie,
married Thomas Barnes and became Hattie Barnes. She did have a daughter named Hattie Lou Barnes but she was
born in 1907 and this photograph type wasn't in use by the time she was the age of the woman in the photograph.
